The Company Has Already Invested Inr1.36bn ($25m) in First Module at The Location

Indo-German JV company Schott Kaisha is all set to invest around INR1bn ($18.38m) in a bid to expand pharma packaging products capacity at its Jambusar unit in Gujarat state.

The company has already invested INR1.36bn ($25m) in first module at the location, which produces about two billion ampules and vials annually.

According to the company, the expansion plan for the first module is slated for completion by December 2013.

Schott Kaisha is also planning to set up second production module, for which details are yet to be finalized.

The plant in Jambusar consists of 20 production lines for ampules and 16 for vials, with scope for further expansion.
