UK based chilled seafood brand The Saucy Fish has expanded its offerings in Canada by launching a new ready-to-eat meals at Loblaws supermarket chain.
The new products can be found in the fresh seafood case of Loblaws.
On choosing Loblaws as its retail partner, Saucy Fish said that the Canadian retail chain is well-placed to support and help in expand its international reach.
The Saucy Fish UK international and business development manager Paul Macis said: “Following our stateside expansion over the last year, we’re exceptionally pleased to be launching in Canada with a brand new frozen range.
“We know different international markets buy and consume seafood in different ways. We feel extremely confident that our inspirational fish and sauce combinations will brighten up the Canadian shoppers’ basket, and lighten the load on whoever’s cooking the mid-week meal.”
Available across the 349 Loblaws’ stores, the products include Sticky Maple Sauce Sensational with smoked and roasted Atlantic salmon fillets, Tomato and Chilli Chutney Tremendous with roasted sweet chilli Atlantic salmon fillets, and Sicilian Lemon & Dill Mayo Magnificent with roasted Lemon, among others.
In August, the brand launched its complementary fish and sauce products across Austria.
The Saucy Fish is owned by fish-processing firm Icelandic Seachill based in Grimsby, UK. Icelandic Seachill supplies fresh and frozen seafood to UK retailers and has a workforce of over 1,400 employees.
