Wahoo Fitness is now shipping its RFLKT computer, which displays data from the user's iPhone fitness apps.
The RFLKT (pronounced "reflect") receives data from apps running on Bluetooth Smart-compatible iPhones, which include the iPhone 4s and 5. Compatible apps include Wahoo's own Fitness for Cycling app. Strava and Cyclemeter apps will soon be compatible.
From the RFLKT, cyclists can operate the app, toggle screens, start/stop intervals and control iPhone functions such as music playback.
By relying on the phone's capabilities, the RFLKT is smaller, lighter and less expensive than GPS-enabled bike computers and does not require frequent battery charging.
The device weighs 2 ounces and measures 2.4-inch long, 1.6-inch wide and 0.5-inch thick. It comes with attachments to mount ahead of the handlebar or on top of the stem.
