Backup camera and sensor systems firm Rear View Safety has introduced two new backup sensor systems - RVS-116 and RVS-BES02 - capable of adding more safety dimension to road for drivers and pedestrians.
The system, capable of being mounted conveniently on the front of a car, comprises four sensors on the front bumpers feeding inputs to a module linked to the dashboard.
The new system alerts the driver in the event of the vehicle nearing certain objects on the ground which cannot be spotted from behind the wheel.
The product RVS-116 comprises four waterproof and weather resistant sensors, one control box, one power cable, one drill bit and LED display to be used on dashboard, ready for a hassle-free installation.
Besides, the RVS-BES02 is a blind spot sensor system for installation on both the sides of a vehicle. It alerts the driver to those objects that fall under the blind spot of a truck or get shielded by the car's body.
The sensors that provide information to the system are installed on the 'A' pillar to ensure that driver keeps a watch on it quickly and clearly.
Recently, Rear View Safety launched GoVue, a backup camera smartphone app capable of integrating with popular iOS and Android operating systems and feeding information from the rear end of the car to the smartphone on a real-time basis.
