The supplier of packaging for the cosmetics and personal care industry has worked for three years with Franco-Spanish tube manufacturer CTL/Tuboplast.
The result has been the launch of the Easy Supply Tube (EST) in the UK, previously only available to CTL’s customer base in the United States.
Vetroplas said high detail can be achieved with the tubes including metallic effects, a combination of matt and gloss finishes, and photographic CMYK images.
The EST tube sleeves are produced in Polypropylene (PP), matching the cap material, and EVOH can be added to enhance barrier properties.
Simon Dix, sales director for Vetroplas, said the EST tubes are manufactured using a ‘revolutionary’ new technique of in mould labelling.
“The product offers highly decorative tubes with the added luxury of having the whole sleeve covered from the seal to the cap – the difference being the decoration is on the label, not the tube sleeve itself.”
