Clear plastic packaging manufacturer in the US, VisiPak has completed the previously announced acquisition of Flex Products of Carlstadt, New Jersey.
The acquisition expands VisiPak's existing line of plastic tube containers to include extra shapes, sizes and closure styles and will increase its manufacturing capacity.
Both companies, which have been manufacturing packaging products, will continue to operate independent manufacturing facilities that use extrusion, thermoforming and injection molding processes. The companies will also offer decorating, design services, contract packaging, assembly and fulfillment services.
Sinclair & Rush president and COO Brad Philip said the acquisition correlates directly with the company's long-term strategies regarding geographic and market reach.
"The synergies created by the two companies allows us to offer the broadest line of packaging products and related services, from concept to completion, of anyone in the industry," Philip said.
The acquisition will enable Flex Products' customer base to have access to VisiPak's complete line of packaging solutions including its own line of plastic container packaging, clear folding cartons, and flexible vinyl caps that can be used with its plastic containers.
