German automobile manufacturer Audi will launch Audi R8 featuring V10 engine which will be available on order across Europe.
The new sports car Audi R8 will be available in two versions: Audi R8 V10 plus and Audi R8 V10.
It features high-torque engine, a new type of lightweight design and an improved quattro drive system with fully accessible and variable torque control.
Audi says that its drive select system allows drivers to coordinate driving dynamics parameters to the friction value and condition of the road.
The Audi R8 V10 plus claims to have a power output of 610 hp and can run at a speed of 330 kmph. It has a 0 to 100 kmph acceleration time of 3.2 seconds.
Commenting on the new development, Audi Technical Development Board member Ulrich Hackenberg said: "This car brings our concentrated motorsport competence from the racetrack to the road."
The entry-level Audi R8 V10 and Audi R8 V10 plus will be available for €165,000 and €187,400, respectively.
