Tech Mahindra has launched Automotive Aftermarket Suite, which is designed to help the company offer innovative solutions for Telematics and sensor-based predictive maintenance for cars.
The company is planning to provide the new platform as a managed service to OEM's, importers, and dealer networks.
The Automotive Aftermarket Suite can also be used by individual owner and fleet operator, because it provides real-time transparency to the vehicle owner on vehicle health status, and integrates pro-active service appointment and process for predictive maintenance.
It also provides dedicated portal with information about vehicle activities, faults, warnings and service history.
Initially, Tech Mahindra is planning to launch Automotive Aftermarket Suite in Europe and US Markets and is expected to launch the platform service to other locations.
Tech Mahindra said: "We have partnered with several major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers across the globe on various programs ranging from Body Engineering, safety, infotainment to electronics and more.
"Our significant experience in the automotive industry means that we are attuned to the challenges that the industry is facing and how we can use technology to address them."
