Fewer of the larger candidates on offer meant an overall bleaker week in the Pakistan market as others concluded candidates due to geographic positioning and India being able to take smaller limits such as handy size bulkers.
It has however, been an incredibly busy year in the Pakistani market overall with a record amount of tonnage taken - particularly in the favored VLCC, suezmax tanker and capesize bulker category.
With demand still there for the right units and many more candidates set to come in the New Year once owners get back from holidays it should be a busy 2013 ahead!
