Italy-based Marchesini Group will be showcasing a robotic station, a counting line for tablets in small containers with labeling machine (RE202), case packer, palletizer (MCV850) and a labeling machine BL400VTETT with Track & Trace system on 28-31 October 2012 at Pack Expo in Chicago, USA.
The station made up of two Robots features the robotic infeeds for pharmaceuticals, designed specifically for the requirements of the industry with pick-up delicacy, placing precision and production speeds.
The first of the two robots recognizes the position of the incoming items arranged randomly on the belt, picks them up and arranges them tidily to subsequently transfer them to the second robot, which performs the reverse operation.
The Track & Trace system enables the control of 2D codes printed on the bottom of the containers, alongside their complete traceability through to the end of the line.
The labeling machine RE202, is the simple and technological solution for both conventional cylindrical and shaped products (like square, rectangular or oval shapes) conveyance, where the machine easily reaches high production rates of up to 400 vials per minute, guaranteeing utmost precision in label application.
In addition, the machine is able to process unconventionally shaped products and vials in pucks and to fit multiple labeling heads and integrate the hot-melt glue applicator of the booklet on the side of the container.
