BorgWarner has announced that it will be supplying its fifth generation (GenV) electro-hydraulic coupling to Lamborghini's Huracan LP610-4 sports car.
With the BorgWarner's electronically controlled AWD coupling, the car will be able to deliver 610 HP at 8,250 rpm and pump 560 Nm of torque.
According to BorgWarner, its GenV integrated electronic control module matches Lamborghini's particular driving characteristics.
GenV uses lightweight and compact design for reduced vehicle complexity and easier integration into the drivetrain.It is also expected to automatically distribute power between the rear and front wheels.

The addition of GenV to Huracan is also expected to improve fuel economy of the car, by providing only the requested amount of torque to the front axle.
