Schwartz Brothers Bakery in the US is recalling Everything Bagels as it contains milk that is not mentioned on the label, according to the US Food and Drug Administration.
The recalled product is Everything Bagels bearing UPC number 7 17887 23121 1 and the best by dates of 14 October 2014 to 10 November 2014.
Packaged in clear 4-pack plastic bag, the recalled product has been distributed through QFC retail stores from 9 October through 5 November across Washington and Portland, Oregon.
The recall has been initiated as the product containing cheese was found to be distributed in packaging that did not mention milk as an ingredient.
However, the packaging declares that the product has been produced in a facility that processes egg, milk, soy, wheat.
Consumption of the recalled product may cause serious or life-threatening allergic reaction in people allergic or sensitive to milk.
No illnesses have been reported associated with the recall.
Customers who have bought the recalled product are advised to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
