Amella Caramels, a chocolate caramel gifts producer, has introduced new Vegan Coconut Almond Caramels in response to the consumer demand.
The launch comes after the company's Vegan Gray Sea Salt Caramels which have been a success for its taste and texture for vegan palates.
Vegan Coconut Almond Caramels consists of organic coconut flakes in the caramel base to enhance the texture and coconut flavor.
Amella Caramels co-founder Elena Kiamileva said the basis for most caramels is dairy and sugar, so the process to develop this vegan caramel was very laborious.
"It took us a year to create a superb caramel base that contains no sugar and no dairy products," Kiamileva added.
Vegan Coconut Almond Caramels are made with all organic ingredients and no refined sugars, Non-GMO Project, kosher certified and gluten-free certified by GIG.
