Self-adhesive label solutions provider Herma is all set to unveil its HERMA exquisite range of film products for the wine industry, with an adhesive comprising a second layer.
The range consists of transparent and white PP films in various thicknesses, which are complimented by adhesive materials for wine labels with various paper and aluminum surface layers.
According to the company, HERMAperfectCut 62Xpc, the new adhesive material, minimizes die-cutter wear during the production of film label and enhances processing as well as the die-cutting results, due to its second layer.
Wine labels with the 62Xpc adhesive are said to prove their resistance in the rigorous cooler test, and remain attached to the bottles even after extended submersion in a wine cooler.
Herma has also exploited multi-layer technology for the 62 W adhesive applied to the layers.
HERMA managing director Dr Thomas Baumg rtner said, "Converters and users alike thus have access to the best of both worlds: label production benefits and the very good adhesive properties to which they are accustomed."
