On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, a Mexican casual dining brand, has announced its commitment to switch 100% of the eggs in its supply chain to cage-free by the end of 2020.
"In response to consumers' changing preferences, we have informed our egg suppliers of our expectation that they fully transition to cage-free eggs by the end of 2020," said Ward Whitworth, President and CEO of On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina®.
This movement will be reflected in select stores across the nation that participate in On The Border's Border Brunch. Launched in 2014, the brand's brunch offers freshly made Mexican inspired breakfast items such as Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Relleno, Breakfast Tacos and Breakfast Fajitas.
