Chevrolet, a subsidiary of the US-based automobile manufacturer General Motors, is set to introduce its new 2015 Corvette Z06 in January 2014 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan.
Production of the new vehicle is expected to begin in late 2014.
According to the company, this will be the last model in the Corvette Z06 performance car lineup from the company. It will also include the Corvette Stingray Convertible, Camaro Z/28 and SS sedan.
Chevrolet Global senior vice president Alan Batey said: "Chevrolet is America's favorite performance car brand, and for 2014 we are going to offer enthusiasts more choices than ever before."
Besides this, the company will also introduce the 2014 Camaro Z/28 in the second quarter of 2014.
In November 2013, the automaker has unveiled new vehicles and technologies at the 30th Thailand International Motor Expo in Bangkok.
Vehicles introduced include Chevrolet's midsize Colorado pickup truck and Chevrolet Trailblazer, which are equipped with Duramax turbo-diesel engine and other enhancements.
