French car maker PSA Peugeot-Citroen has unveiled the new Citroen C4 Picasso, a five-seat multi purpose vehicle (MPV).
The vehicle comes with two engine variants, including the e-HDi 115 Airdream and the e-HDi 90 Airdream that are available in petrol and diesel variants, respectively.
The MPV with equipped with the 1.6L VTi e-HDi 115 Airdream engine generates outputs ranging from 75kW to 115kW and torque range of 135Nm to 240Nm at 6000rpm, while offering mileage of 74mpg.
The 1.6L VTi e-HDi 90 Airdream engine generates an output from 68kW to 110kW, while delivering carbon emissions of 104g/km-105g/km and 70mpg mileage.
Features of the vehicle include 360-degree around-car vision with four exterior-mounted cameras, a 12inch HD display and seven inch touchscreen monitor controls.
The MPV comes with radar-guided cruise control, lane-departure warning system, blind-spot monitoring and active seat-belts.
Sales of the vehicle in Europe are expected to start in autumn 2013, following the availability in France by June 2013.
