Pacific Lighting Managementhas selected electrical solutions provider Leviton as the sole supplier of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) for the Department of General Services (DGS) California Program Award.
Under the deal, Leviton will provide EVSE designed and engineered in the US for local government agencies across the state of California.
Pacific Lighting chief financial officer Tim Hatamian said Leviton will offer charging stations and pedestals for this statewide program, so electric vehicle owners can utilize the expandable monitoring/payment options and full-spectrum of leading EVSE solutions for all levels of need.
"Leviton was the clear choice for us as their EVSE equipment is renowned for its quality and safety along with being the only brand sanctioned by Ford, Kia, Honda and Toyota," Hatamian added.
According to the company, Leviton's Evr-Green Charging Stations allow fast charging of SAE J1772 compatible electric vehicle, while offering plug-in electric vehicle charging.
Leviton Commercial and Industrial Business EVSE Programs Unit senior director Manoj Karwa said Pacific Lighting has offered a great partnership to enable California government locations electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
