Skoda has announced that its Skoda Octavia will be available as hatchback with all-wheel drive equipped with standard Octavia qualities.
The company also announced that it will be expanding its attractive 4x4 range to a total of seven vehicles.
Skoda has used fifth generation Haldex clutch based all-wheel-drive technology to improve the performance of the vehicle.
The vehicles also features lock (EDL) as standard and rear axle has an innovative multi-link suspension.
Customers will be able to choose from four engine options which include three turbo diesel engines and one turbo petrol engine.
ŠKODA board member for sales and marketing Werner Eichhorn said: "With the ŠKODA Octavia 4×4, we are expanding our most important model range with an attractive variant and are proving our high level of competency in all-wheel-drive vehicles once more."
