TwinTech technology provides optimal climate inside fridge for longer-lasting freshness whilst preventing build-up of frost in freezer by utilizing separate cooling systems for both compartments.
As the chosen supplier to almost 50% of Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe, Electrolux has a unique insight in to the requirements of the some of the most demanding kitchens in the world. Translating class-leading professional ranges into superior domestic products, Electrolux now offer best in class food preservation with longer lasting freshness and low energy consumption.
"Traditional frost-free fridges use one cooling system for refrigeration and freezer compartments." says David Schill, Brand Director, Electrolux Major Appliances EMEA. "This means that humidity is lost, causing food to dry out and lose its nutritional value with greater speed than necessary." continued Schill. "Electrolux FreshPlus is certified by the independent SGS Institute as the 'No.1 in preserving food's natural freshness' and compared to standard frost-free models, it adds days onto the freshness of perishable goods. Mushrooms, for example, are proven to stay fresh for at least an extra six days."
All Electrolux FreshPlus fridge-freezers feature TwinTech cooling inspired by the technology found in professional restaurant kitchens. The Electrolux FreshPlusFridgeFreezer (ENC2859AOW) offers a market leading energy performance of A+++ -10%, consuming as little energy as a conventional light bulb. The appliance features a Soft-Closing door that works automatically to ensure the best climate for long lasting freshness. With a total gross capacity of 276litres, the FreshPlusFridgeFreezer offers different modes for optimal use (HolidayMode, Shopping Mode, FastFreeze mode) and specified locations for different food types including a FreshZone, Vegetable drawers with Humidity Control and a TasteGuard air filter. Premium design is consistent throughout, including an Electronic LCD display with touch controls.
To complement the freshest food ingredients, Electrolux have developed an intuitive Wine Cellar (ERW1673AOM) based upon the importance of temperature consistency to negate alterations bought by heat and light that can cause a negative chemical reaction within a bottle of wine.? Precision is provided through exact temperature control, whilst a stainless steel and glass door eliminates UV rays. The Wine Cellar offers two independent temperature zones, separated for red and whites, and between temperatures of 5-18 °Caided with an air circulation fan.
Despite its size, the cooler holds as many as 48 bottles of wine across four wooden shelves. LED lighting, a digital display and a full glass door with metal handle ensure a premium aesthetic, whilst the cooling system will even remove vibrations, which can disturb sediment in the bottle and spoil a good wine.
