Kia unveiled its K4 sedan exclusively for the Chinese market at the 2014 Chengdu Motor Show in Sichuan, China.
The car will be available in three engine variants, a 1.6-liter turbocharger T-GDI gasoline engine which is capable of generating 176 horsepower; Nu 1.8-liter gasoline engine that can produce 143 horsepower and 2.0-liter gasoline engine which is capable of generating 155 horsepower.
To enhance the driving experience, the car maker has added seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
Kia has given a new design to the car with new bold lines and tiger-nose grille.
It has 2,770 mm wheelbase and the body is 1,815 mm wide and 1,465 mm high making the car spacious.
On the interior, the K4 sedan features front and rear heated seats, heated steering wheel, rear air ventilation, a telematics system/infotainment system that will be compatible with most of the smartphones.
Kia has equipped the K4 sedan with six airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) to make the car safer.
K4 sedan will be manufactured and marketed exclusively in China and has been designed specifically with Chinese consumers in mind, the company said.
