Packaging products provider Plasticum has unveiled Nutri-Line, a new packaging concept, for infant food products.
Designed for standard tinplate and composite cans, the Nutri-Line comes in 99mm and 127mm diameters.
It features a hinged lid with integrated scoop, which are claimed to ensure a safe and hygienic dosing of infant formulas.
In addition to a tamper evident indicator that shows first use, the hinged lid has grip that enables easy opening and closing, and a locking element that keeps it open during usage.
After usage, the scoop can be placed on the cover ring and the lid can be re-closed for safe storage. The scoops are available in various cup sizes and can be used for a range of powders and densities.
Plasticum said that the two-piece lid can be customized with an in-mould label or embossing.
