Nepal s largest cement industry, the Udayapur Cement Industry, has increased its production for the past few days.
The 800 metric tonne per day capacity industry had been only producing 450 metric tonnes as machines were not in sound condition.
But now as they are repaired it has started to produce 550 metric tonnes of cement, said General Manager of the Industry, Dr. Surendra Prasad Chaurasiya.
The industry was facing problem even to provide salaries to its staffs due to its decreased capacity.
