LEGO Opens First Hong Kong Store

Based in Langham Place, the new flagship store will target adult fans as well as children.

LEGO has opened the doors to its first store in Hong Kong to fans, with plans to open three more outlets in the next three years.

Based in Langham Place, the new flagship store will target adult fans as well as children.

Kidsland Holdings, which runs the new LEGO store, is also hopeful that the new shop will help to increase footfall despite the country’s economic downturn.

Dr William Lo Wing-yan, from Kidsland Holdings, said: “Toys are a resilient market during a downturn, more so than say fashion, jewellery or cosmetics, because adults can show more restraint when spending on themselves rather than when they spend on their children,” reports South China Morning Post.

“Lego appeals to a wide demographic, from young kids to kid-adults. It’s a jolly and exciting store.”
