Oskar Blues Brewery has joined forces with can manufacturer Ball to offer its Mama's Little Yella Pils in Ball's Royal Pint 568ml, single-serve can.
According to Ball, the new Royal Pint will feature similar graphics as the Mama's Little Yella Pils 12oz aluminum can. The Royal Pint is about the height of a 24oz can and has a diameter of 16oz.
Ball metal beverage packaging division Americas sales senior vice president Robert Miles said the new can offers a better way to its North American customers to differentiate their brands.
"And with the aluminum can's ability to block out light and oxygen, craft brewers achieve their ultimate goal of delivering better tasting beer to their consumers," Miles said.
American craft brewery Oskar Blues launched its craft-brewed beer canning operations in 2002 in Lyons, Colorado.
