Luxury vehicle maker Acura has started mass-production of its new 2015 Acura TLX at the Marysville Auto Plant, Ohio, and is expected to land at dealerships across the US in August.
This sedan has a new exterior package, which is packed with two new powertrains Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) and Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS).
It also features two direct-injected engines, a 290-horsepower 3.5-liter SOHC V-6, and a 206-horsepower 2.4-liter inline 4 -cylinder both produced at Ohio plant.
The new TLX is a combination of premium luxury-sedan refinement with sports-sedan athleticism, and with its launch more than 90% of Acura vehicles that are sold in the US are now made in the US.
Marysville Auto Plant manager Rob May said: "We are proud to be the exclusive global manufacturer of the Acura TLX.
"Working side-by-side with our Acura engineers, our dedicated team of manufacturing associates is committed to exceeding the expectations of every customer and producing the best products in the world."
