The 30-year-old sprcialty chain will expand its network of stores along the Eastern Seaboard to 25 this summer with the opening of ite frst NJ store, 8,000 sq. ft. in Westfield, and its largest store ever, 12,000 sq.ft. in Manhasset, Long Isalnd, NY.
Currently, City Sports operates three stores in New York City, including its flagship location at 50 Broadway that was opened in March. The chain annually sells more than 125,000 of its branded T-shirts and 200,000 pairs of running shoes, hosts more than 100 neighborhood events and races and is invloved in another 200+ sponsored events near its East Coast locations.
