Lovely Candy is set to launch its first line of gluten-free candies, including licorice, caramels and fruit chews in the US.
The new products will be launched at the National Confectioners Association Sweets & Snacks Expo May 21-23 in Chicago.
Lovely Candy Company CEO Mike Nakamura said that the company is committed to using the highest quality ingredients to create a consciously crafted candy that everyone can enjoy, not just those with dietary restrictions.
The company's products include Lovely Candy Original Chewy Caramels, Lovely Candy Chocolate Swirl Caramels, Lovely Candy Super Fruit Chews (in Cranberry, Raspberry and Blueberry), Lovely Candy Fruit Chews (in Apple, Cherry and Blackberry) and Lovely Candy Organic Cherry Licorice Drops.
Currently, the company is working to have the whole line, which contains no high fructose corn syrup, certified non-GMO.
Lovely Candy produces candies for consumers who have food sensitivities or celiac disease and must maintain a gluten-free diet. The line also serves health-conscious consumers. The candies are non-GMO, certified kosher and contain no high fructose corn syrup.
