German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen has unveiled the Passat R-line, revamped version of the Passat model.
The new vehicle is made available with three engine variants including the new supercharged 1.4L TSI engine mated to either six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG gearboxes that generates output of 160ps.
The vehicle is also available with the 1.6L TDI diesel engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox that generates an output of 105ps and a 2L TDI diesel engine paired to six-speed manual or DSG gearboxes that delivers 140ps of output.
According to the company, all the R-Line models of the vehicle come with BlueMotion Technology modifications with Stop/Start and battery regeneration systems.
The car comes with fog lights, sports suspension lowered by 15mm, side skirts, 18inch Kansas alloy wheels, 235/40 tyres, bootlid spoiler, bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and LED taillights.
