Live to Play Sports, parent company of Norco Bicycles, is expanding its sales team in Eastern North America, a rapidly growing market for the distributor of bicycles, parts and accessories.
The addition of new sales reps and management will enable Live to Play to improve service to independent bike dealers throughout the Eastern parts of Canada and the U.S., the company said in a statement. Along with the changes to the sales team, a new 80,000-square-foot Eastern warehouse and office facility, scheduled to open this summer, is under construction.
Among the most significant personnel changes to take effect, Nathaniel Roy assumes the newly created role of Eastern sales manager. Formerly a sales rep, Roy has 20 years of industry experience—eight in retail and 12 at Live to Play.
“Nathaniel has demonstrated a commitment to our company and to helping grow sales in whatever role he finds himself," said Paul Nielsen, national sales manager for Live to Play. “LTP continues to take on more market share in the East, and Nathaniel’s new role as head of a very experienced sales team will help us to consolidate that growth.”
