Indian auto maker Tata Motors has reported total sales of 49,304 vehicles including exports, commercial and passenger vehicles during May 2013.
During the month, the company sold a total 45,430 vehicles in the domestic market that includes the commercial and passenger vehicles.
Cumulative sales of commercial vehicles of the company in the domestic market for the fiscal were 70,321 units, which included 50,196 LCVs and 20,125 M&HCV sales.
In May, the automaker sold 34,296 commercial vehicles in the domestic market that included 24,173 units of the light commercial vehicles (LCV) and 10,123 medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV).
Total sales of passenger vehicles in the month reached 11,134, including 8,927 vehicles in the range of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo, while the Sumo/ Safari/ Aria/ Venture range recorded sales of 2,207 units.
The company exported about 3,874 vehicles in May 2013, adding to 7,439 units exported during the fiscal year.
