Kimberly-Clark has announced the launch of a cooled radiofrequency (RF) system, designed to relieve cervical facet joint pain.
Available in two configurations, the Cervicool Cooled RF system uses the water-cooled technology to create larger lesions than standard radiofrequency and treat the cervical joint pain.
The system, which can be used in various approaches including perpendicular, oblique or parallel, also addresses nerve path variability in the cervical spine.
Kimberly-Clark global interventional pain management general manager Lisa Kudlacz said, "The addition of CERVICOOL Cooled RF System completes our portfolio of cooled RF spine treatment offerings."
The company also offers cooled-RF pain management solutions for patients with discogenic pain, SI joint syndrome, thoracic and lumbar z-joint pain.
