On Feb., 25th, National Key Scientific Instrument Development Program Application and Engineering Development of High Precision Optical Comb Coherent Imaging Analyzer, sponsored by government, approved by MOST was launched in Baosteel.
Organized by Baosteel Academia Sinica, and participated by more than 10 enterprises and academic institutions, such as East China Normal University, Shanghai University of Technology, Shenzhen University, Shanghai Langyan Technology Company, this program aims to conduct R & D on iron & steel detection, and fine processing & monitoring,etc. In terms of steel, such urgent high & new technology industries as high precision surface profile measurement, micro-nano fine processing & detection, integrated circuit manufacturing, solar cell finishing processing, etc. Will be promoted so as to initiate engineering and industrialised demonstration and fulfill small-lot production.
At the kick-off meeting, participated experts reiterate that this program will play a key & leading role in science & technology, economic development and improving people's living standard. The instruments will live up to quality criteria of steel making industry and application standard of life science & medicine field. The instrument development process will get rid of overseas monopoly on China's high end technology research, which is crucial to steel, biology, medicine and space technology. It is anticipated to form over 20 patents, Besides, batch production shall be implemented in 2017 so as to fulfill the commercialization.
