Reser’s Fine Foods, a Kansas-based company, is recalling about 22,800 pounds of chicken, ham and beef products, as they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said.
The withdrawal is in association with other foods regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Products regulated by the FSIS feature the establishment number 'EST. 13520' or 'P-13520' inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The products being recalled include Cobble Street Market Chicken Salad, Cross Valley Farms Chicken Salad, Cross Valley Farms Ham Salad, Reser's Fine Foods White Meat Chicken Salad with Cranberries & Pecans, Reser's Fine Foods Chicken Salad and Reser's Fine Foods Ham Salad.
They also include Reser's Fine Foods Ham Salad Supreme, Millers Bar-B-Que Beans with Beef, Reser's Fine Foods White Meat Chicken Salad, Classic Chicken Salad, Chef Solutions Cranberry Pecan White Meat Chicken Salad and Stonemill Kitchens Loaded Potato Salad with Bacon.
The affected UPC codes include 22486 15887, 58108 30149, 58108 30166, 71117 11392, 71117 11400, 71117 11402, 71117 14139, 71117 14179, 71117 19008, 71117 68007, 77509 63308 and 71117 61502.
Products in the recall were distributed to retailers and distributors in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
The problem was identified during a microbiological testing by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
FSIS and Reser's Fine Foods have received no reports of illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
