Indian online fashion retailer Jabong is set to launch two international brands, Miss Bennett London and Germany’s Tom Tailor, at the forthcoming Lakme Fashion Week (LFW).
Targeted for young fashionistas between 16 to 25 years of age, the Miss Bennett London show, which will be hosted on March 19th, 2015, will highlight fashion-forward pieces like dresses, denims, tops, footwear and accessories rich in style for Spring/Summer season.
Due to be staged on March 20th, 2015, Tom Tailor and Tom Tailor Denim catwalks will feature the latest men’s and women’s collections. Menswear designs for the season, which include confident, stylish and elegant pieces in icy colours and contrasting natural tones of soft sand, are inspired from the colourful Caribbean world and wilderness.
The sporty styles of Hawaiian universities and futuristic designs of big cities played as source of inspiration for the womenswear entries, based on a palette of dirty yellow, rose and pastels.
Commenting on the two shows, Arun Chandra Mohan, founder and CEO Jabong, said in a press release, “It has been our constant endeavour to bring best of fashion to our customers and this year is particularly exciting as we showcase Miss Bennett London and bring to India the most sought after urban brand-Tom Tailor. These brands will be exclusively available on Jabong and we couldn’t have got a better platform than LFW to launch these.”
“Apart from these two shows, 39 new designers from Lakme Fashion Week will showcase their collections on the Jabong Stage. As India's premier fashion forward destination, we look forward to establishing upcoming talent and associate with more and more premium international brands to be available exclusively on our site,” he further adds while talking about Jabong Stage.
“With Jabong’s partnership with India’s biggest fashion week for the third consecutive season, we aim at reaching a newer audience and promoting new designers at LFW every season. This year is also special as two Jabong stylists Manish Bansal and Ankit have been selected for Gen Next show,” he reveals.
