Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang Group) announced that in March this year it produced 704,000 mt of pig iron, down 24.02 percent, 749,800 mt of crude steel, down 19.14 percent, and 680,000 mt of finished steel, down 19.14 percent, all year on year.
In March 2013, Baogang Group had produced 926,600 mt of pig iron, 927,300 mt of crude steel and 841,000 mt of finished steel.
