"We had budgeted to produce 50,000 tonnes in 2012. That we have now reached 100,000 tonnes in January of 2013 is a fantastic result," said Dag Benestad, Business Area Manager Dissolving Pulp.
It took 12 months to convert line 1 at Mörrum to textile pulp and the company is now looking at converting an additional line to softwood-based textile pulp, primarily for customers in Europe and Asia.
