Kenworth truck Company has unveiled new 2013 PACCAR MX-13 engine and five mixer trucks, which will debut at the upcoming World of Concrete Show being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in the US during 4-8 February 2013.
The 12.9L engineis a revamped version of the 2010 PACCAR MX engine and generates an output range of 380 to 500hp and a torque range of 1,450 to 1,850lbft.
The new engine will power a Kenworth W900S mixer and will be mated to an Allison 4500RDS 6-speed transmission.
Mixers include a T440 and a W900S, which are powered by the Cummins Westport 8.9L ISL G engine mated to Allison 4500RDS 6-speed automatic transmission that generates 320hp output and 1,000lbft of torque.
The W900S, a California lightweight spec mixer is powered by Cummins ISL9 engine that produces 380hp and 1300lbft of torque and is paired to Eaton RTO14909ALL 11-speed transmission.
All the three mixers will come with the McNeilus mixer body, while the T800 short hood has a PACCAR MX engine mated to Allison 4500RDS 6-speed transmission and Beck Industrial mixer body.
