It’s reported that the US steel mills’ shipments of stainless steel products have increased for consecutive three months. In February, the country’s stainless steel shipments totaled 168,901 tons, increasing by 7.1% from a month ago and hitting the highest level since March, 2011. Among them, the shipments of cold rolled sheets totaled 96,306 tons, increasing by 13.7%; those of cold rolled narrow strips were at 25,898 tons, down by 2.7%; those of hot rolled sheets totaled 8,256 tons, decreasing by 12.6%, all compared those in a month ago.
