UK-based KB Natural Foods is recalling its own-brand pre-packaged cashew nuts and almonds after its packing plant was served with a Hygiene Emergency Prohibition Notice over rodent infestation, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
The products being recalled are KB Natural Foods Cashew Nuts, 150g, bearing batch code no. IH151112; KB Natural Foods Cashew Nuts, 700g, bearing batch code no. IH030113; and KB Natural Foods Almonds, 225g, bearing batch code no. IH140113.
Consumers who have purchased one of the above products should do not eat it. Instead, the products can be returned to the point of purchase for a full refund.
Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all stores that have sold KB Natural Foods' products explaining why the products have been recalled. No other KB Natural Foods Ltd products are known to be affected.
