Motorola has announced it will re-enter the Chinese smartphone market from February with at least three products.Lenovo will offer the Moto X around the Chinese New Year- the Spring Festival- in February. The Moto X Pro with a 6-inch display and the curved Moto G will be available afterwards, according to a post on Motorola’s website. Lenovo in October completed its $2.91 billion acquisition of Motorola Mobility from Google. Motorola has been absent in China for about two years.
The Moto X (2nd Gen.) will go on sale in China sometime in early February, while the Moto X Pro and LTE-capable Moto G won’t be available until after Spring Festival, which is toward the later half of February. What’s more, Motorola is also bringing Moto Maker to China, but customers will have to wait until after the Chinese New Year to get their hands on a customized Moto X.
Motorola said that after the Chinese New Year holiday festival was over, customers would be able to design their own Moto X through the firm's Moto Maker design tool.
