Japanese automaker Toyota's luxury vehicle division, Lexus, has unveiled the new 2014 GX 460 luxury utility vehicle (LUV) that will be made available in two grades.
The new vehicle is powered by 4.6L V8 engine that generates an output of 301hp when mated to a six-speed electronically controlled transmission with intelligence (ECT-i), while offering an EPA-estimated 15mpg city and 20mpg highway.
The LUV comes with full-time four-wheel drive that uses an electronically controlled transfer case and a TORSEN torque-sensing limited slip center differential which can be electronically locked.
Lexus GX 460 comes with the new Lexus spindle grille with standard LED headlamps and daytime running lights, while the LED fog lamps are also available.
Interiors of the vehicle include a new touch-screen display with eight-inch screen, backup monitor, HD Radio, Bluetooth audio, automatic phone book transfer, a vehicle information display as well as traffic and weather data provided through HD Radio.
Features of the vehicle include, blind spot monitor (BSM) with rear cross traffic alert (RCTA), rear stabilizer bars and kinetic dynamic suspension system (KDSS).
