US based trucks manufacturer Ram Trucks has selected tire maker Goodyear to supply tires for its 2014 Power Wagon trucks.
Under the deal, the tire maker will supply its Wrangler DuraTrac tires, which are claimed to maintain the balance between the vehicle's on-road civility and off-road performance.
The 2014 Ram Power Wagon, which is based on the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty 4x4 Crew Cab, features a new suspension with over two inches of lift, locking differentials and a 12,000-pound winch.
Goodyear all-terrain brand manager Sara Vacha said the off-road performance of the Wrangler DuraTrac is well suited for a truck like the Ram Power Wagon.
"Ram's choice of the DuraTrac is further testament of the tire's capability -- both on and off the road," Vacha added.
Goodyear's 33-inch Wrangler DuraTrac tires with LT285/70R17 size are expected to offer the Power Wagon with traction required to move on the off-road terrain.
