Tesla’s much anticipated Model X is set to be launched on 29th of this month at Tesla’s factory in Fremont, California.
According to Tesla, Model X combines the space and functionality of a seven-seat sport utility vehicle with uncompromised performance of the brand.
Tesla CEO Ellon Musk previously hinted about the launch of the new car in a series of tweets and according to reports, the company has invited its initial customers for the launch ceremony.
The company has not disclosed about the general rollout of the vehicle but on its website, it mentioned that the delivery estimate for new reservations is early 2016.
However, the production Model X cars are expected to be delivered to the first customers at the event.
The company has not disclosed full details of the vehicle but it has mentioned that Every Model X will come with all-wheel drive option as standard, and it will be powered by two independent, digitally controlled electric motors.
It features Falcon Wing rear doors that fold up and out of the way, even in garages and narrow parking spaces and it will provide easy access to the third row seats.
Earlier this month, the company allowed Model X customers that have "signature reservations" which allowed them to pick the details of their cars, including paint colours and wheel size.
Though Tesla has not disclosed the price of the model, speculations are that the car could cost more than Model S and could range between $125,000-135,000.
