Lumenpulse recently declared that it has achieved a U.S.Patent 8,179,058 issued on May 15,2012.This patent tops the other seven pending around Lumenpulse's Lumentalk technology.
It fosters a novel method, wherein a traditional analog TRIAC dimmer can be intuitively read in a digital fashion. This will in turn contribute to more improved energy and cost efficiency through digital control of LED lighting over existing AC power lines.
The Lumentalk technology is capable of converting electrical wiring into a constant,noise-free high-speed communications link for data.LED fixtures can be therefore be easily leveraged without extra wiring. The technology does not require any facility alterations for installing additional data cabling involved in retrofit project, giving rise to 30%decrease in total installation costs.
Following its achievement of Product Innovation Award(PIA)in March,2012,Lumentalk ensures excellent dimming and control capabilities over existing power lines for LED fixtures. It complies with most control or dimming standards such as ELV,TRIAC,0-10V,DMX or DALI.Lumentalk utilizes AC voltage ranging from 100V-277V and works within the frequency bands set by global regulations like CENELEC,FCC,ARIB.
At present,Lumenpulse includes 26 patents pending for innovations.Lumentalk is one of the major innovations developed for rapid and energy-efficient adoption of controllable LED lighting systems.
Furthermore,Lumenpulse's Lumenline is a system of indoor linear LED luminaires that can provide high-quality LED illumination to sustainability-conscious educational facilities, and offices. It also provides 100,000 h lifetime.
