India-based automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has launched a new multi utility vehicle (MUV), the Movus.
Movus is powered by the new 2.2L VARICOR diesel engine paired to a five speed manual transmission to produce an output of 120PS and 250Nm of peak torque.
The powertrain of Movus is coupled to a new concentric sleeve cylinder - self actuating clutch to offer better clutching, while the vehicle comes with fuel tank capacity of 65L and fuel usage of 15.16kmpL.
The MUV is a revamped version of Tata Motors' Sumo and is available in 7, 8 and 9 seat options with front facing, side facing and Captain seat configurations.
Tata Motors passenger vehicle business unit president Ranjit Yadav said the all-new Movus is a great proposition for large families.
"The vehicle is commercially available at dealerships located in metros and select cities," Yadav added.
Movus is made available in two variants, the CX and LX along with two color options including the Porcelain White and Meteor Silver.
