Cba Reported Net Sales of $134.9m in The First Nine Months Ended 30 September 2013

Craft Brew Alliance (CBA), an independent craft brewing company, has reported net sales of $134.9m in the first nine months ended 30 September 2013 compared to $127.3m during the same period in 2012.

Craft Brew Alliance has also posted gross profit of $38.7m in the first nine months of 2013 compared to $38.6m in the same period in 2012.

Operating income of the beer maker was $2.4m compared to $4.1m in the prior year period.

The company's net income for first nine months of 2013 totaled $1.9m compared to $3.6m in 2012.

Craft Brew Alliance CEO Terry Michaelson said that the record growth and momentum they are seeing - across brands, channels and geographies - reflects the exceptional teamwork and passion of the entire CBA family, including their wholesaler and retailer partners.

"As we look ahead, we remain committed to continue driving strong sales and profit growth, while keeping a close eye on our margins," Michaelson added.

"And with our 2013 performance to date as an indicator, I am confident that our focus will enable us to deliver on the power of CBA's highly competitive, proven strategy."
