BBU, a US-based manufacturer and distributor of bread, cakes and cookies, is voluntarily recalling fresh bagels, as they may contain metal fragments.
The products subject to recall include Thomas' Everything Bagels, Blueberry Bagels, Onion Bagels, Plain Bagels, Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, Hearty Grains 100% Whole Wheat Bagels, Cinnamon Swirl Bagels, Honey Wheat Bagels.; Weight Watchers 6 Original Bagels.
The recalled products also include Sara Lee Deluxe Bagels Honey Wheat,Weight Watchers 6 Original Bagels, Deluxe Bagels Blueberry, Deluxe Bagels Cinnamon Raisin; Publix Premium Original Bagels, Multi-Grain Bagels,Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bagels.
These products bear Best Buy dates January 18 to and including January 27.
The company has issued the recall after it noticed metal fragments in two packages and no illnesses have been reported, associated with the recall.
No other Thomas', Sara lee , Publix or Weight Watchers products are affected and consumers who have purchased the product can return the product for a full refund.
