Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO) has offered cheap commercial auto insurance to the denizens of California, by purchasing coverage directly from GEICO.
Under the commercial insurance packages, the cars, trucks and vans used by small businesses such as contractors, retailers, caterers, professional services and others will be covered.
GEICO's West Coast operations regional vice president Shawn Burklin said that the firm is happy to offer Californians low rates and fast, friendly service.
"We're delivering that same combination of low prices and great service to Californians who need a commercial policy," Burklin.
GEICO director of commercial lines Kushwant Singh said customers can now contact GEICO for all of their automobile insurance needs, and through the GEICO Insurance Agency can meet other insurance requests.
GEICO provides insurance to commercial vehicles of both new and existing customers as well as offers protection for business operations and property through the GEICO Insurance Agency.
GEICO manages auto insurance coverage for 11 million private passenger auto policies and insures more than 17.5 million vehicles.
