Catalogue with 100 New Styles Is Unveiled by Uniform Maker Cintas

Cintas Corporation the largest uniform supplier in North America, released its 2013 Uniform Book. Featuring more than 100 new colors and styles and three new suiting collections, the 108-page catalog showcases sharp, retail-inspired and innovative apparel for professionals in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, hospitality and foodservice.

“Over the years, Cintas’ uniform catalog has become synonymous with fashion, quality and reliability,” said Kristin Sharp, Director of Design and Merchandising at Cintas. “This year, we’re proud to showcase our most premium designer suiting to date, the Jay Godfrey and AR Red collections, which represent a natural extension of our modern wardrobe solutions for the workplace.”

Marrying premium fabrics with runway-inspired designs, the Jay Godfrey Suiting Collection—exclusive to Cintas—features slim-fitting silhouettes with narrow lapels, high-notch collars and shell buttons wrapped in stainless steel. To create the collection, Cintas partnered with runway fashion designer Jay Godfrey, who has a celebrity following that includes Eva Longoria, Emma Stone and Jennifer Lopez. Featuring Godfrey’s signature dot-lining with magenta piping, the collection is environmentally-friendly and offers a flattering fit for men and women, regardless of size and body shape.

Also new to the catalog and exclusive to Cintas, the AR Red Suiting Collection blends contemporary style with functionality, environmental responsibility and attention to detail.

Created by the well-known British brand Austin Reed, the AR Red collection is comprised of wool, recycled polyester and Sorona—an innovative, plant-based fiber. The environmentally-friendly collection features impeccable tailoring and soft, breathable, durable fabric.

Other new additions include new ties and scarves, stylish blouses and shirts, two polo collections, functional banquet jackets and industrial launderable housekeeping. To help keep wearers dry and comfortable and extend the life of the uniforms, Cintas uses several high-performance fabric finishes, including moisture-wicking management, mechanical stretch and wrinkle-resistant technology and UV sun protection.

“When people think about uniforms, ‘fashion-forward’ and ‘trendy’ are probably the last phrases to come to mind,” said Sharp. “However, by partnering with high-end fashion designers and offering a wide range of colors, sizes and silhouettes, we can give our customers apparel they want to wear to work that also reflects their organization’s unique identity and brand.”

In spring, Cintas will launch its new public website, to offer customers an improved shopping experience with easier navigation and in-depth ordering capabilities.
